Features
The HMP50-ATEX is a compact portable pneumatic powered drilling machine which allows hole cutting up to 50mm diameter and 50mm depth using Holemaker cutters. The No. 2 Morse Taper spindle allows a wide range
of tooling to be used with the machine.
The combination of pneumatic drive and permanent magnetic base eliminate the need for electric power supply thus making this machine an ideal solution in many hazardous environments such as oil drilling platforms, mining industry, shipbuilding or petrochemical industry.
Both the machine and the body of the HMP50-ATEX drill are certified ATEX II 2G Ex h IIC 135°C (T4) Gb II 2D Ex h IIIB T135°C Db and meets the requirements for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Specifications
- ATEX-approved materials. Safe for use in Ex zones and environments with hazardous, flammable, or combustible vapors, liquids, dust, or residues.
- Strong permanent magnet. Secures the drill without the need for an electric supply.
- Permanent magnetic base with V-shaped prismatic foot. Enables drilling on pipes from 250 mm upwards.
- Innovative sliding ON/OFF pneumatic motor switch. Provides compressed air to the pneumatic motor.
- Mechanical safety lock. Prevents accidental motor activation.
- Magnet ON/OFF indicator. Enhances safety.
- Compact size and lightweight. Ideal for site work.
- 2-gearbox. Allows speed to be matched to the tool
